FAVERSHAM and BELMONT HOUSE

A chance to stop for coffee and too explore Faversham for a while, one of England's most charming and historic market towns, nestled between the rural beauty of the North Downs and the magnificent Kent coast.

Before we head to nearby Belmont House, this elegant 18th century house (designed by Samuel Wyatt) commands stunning views over the surrounding Estate and the rolling Kentish North Downs. One of the most prestigious historic houses in Kent and a great option for those looking for things to do in Faversham. Steeped in history, this unique house contains mementos of the family's history and travels.

Within the house itself lies three exciting collections: the armoury, collected by five generations of the Harris family (Lords of the estate for 200 years); the Cazabon collection, the finest collection of Cazabon paintings in Britain; and the Clock Museum, an extraordinary horological collection created by the 5th Lord Harris.
